What are HydroPor® Panels?
HydroPor Panels when installed form a resilient, modular drainage system engineered for tough environments. Easy to install with minimal excavation and require no additional backfill. The panels are purpose-built to withstand in excess of 280 tonnes of compressive force per square meter, ensuring exceptional durability and reliability.
The open void structure of HydroPor Panels creates a path of least resistance, allowing excess water to flow freely into new or existing drainage assets, or directly back into the water table through infiltration. HydroPor panels are much less prone to clogging than traditional drainage assets which prevents the need for repetitive maintenance and thus reduce the risk of flooding and costly service delays.
When installed horizontally on an impervious substrate, HydroPor Panels can form the base of a green roof, providing controlled release of excess water and helping to slow down stormwater runoff—even during extreme rainfall events.
HydroPor is an internationally patented drainage solution developed in the UK. (This product may be covered by U.S. Patent No. US 12,263,626). It is made from a unique blend of recycled materials, engineered to create a hydrophobic polymer alloy. This results in durable, porous panels that resist bridging and blocking, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Key Benefits:
- Superior Flow Capacity: Maximizes drainage efficiency in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
- Lightweight & Easy Installation: Reduces labour, equipment needs, and trenching time.
- Durable Construction: Resists chemical and environmental degradation, extending asset life and delivering significant whole-life cost savings.
- Supports Net Zero Goals: HydroPor Panels are CO₂ negative, helping you meet sustainability targets
- Exceptional Performance: Maintains high flow rates and structural integrity, resisting crushing, bridging, and blocking.
How It Works
Water naturally follows the path of least resistance. HydroPor Panels provide an extremely permeable matrix with immense compressive strength, keeping this pathway open. This enables water and silts to flow freely into other drainage assets. The panels are compatible with existing pipework, and their unique drainage qualities promote persistent, passive water control.
